Secure video
Dr. Braslow is experienced in working with patients and families via secure video. As long as you have a high-quality internet connection and privacy, the material covered and treatment plan enacted is virtually identical to what would take place if the meeting took place in the office.
Due to licensure requirements, Dr. Braslow is only able to provide care to patients physically located in the State of California.
Per DEA regulations, Dr. Braslow must also meet with you/your child in the office at least once before a controlled substance (examples: stimulant medications for ADHD, such as Ritalin or Adderall; or benzodiazepines for anxiety, such as Ativan or Klonopin) may be prescribed, and once every two years thereafter. Please let us know when setting up your appointment if you think this will apply to you. NOTE: This regulation is currently waived due to COVID.
Child/adolescent patient considerations:
- Children must have a parent be physically present, either in the same or the adjoining room, during appointments.
- Adolescents may be present on a different video source than the parent, as long as the parent is available to join in at some point during the session.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions about meeting via secure video.
